...The phonemes of E conform to no known language, modern or ancient. It is difficult to reconcile samples of E with any model for human linguistic origin. Much of the language is, quite frankly, incompatible with standard human physiology and biomechanics. Those who purport to speak E (henceforth, "practitioners") [cf., e.g., , , and suffer transient but extensive distortion of the trachea, larynx, jaw, and vocal chords. Close observation bears this out. Permanent vocal scarring is endemic among long-term practitioners...

...Statistical textual analysis of the master lexicon and its antecedents [cf. Beauclerk, William, and references therein] suggests a low but finite probability of additional, as-yet unidentified familial traditions. Anecdotal evidence [see Marsh, Raybould] indicates a fragmentary transliteration of a lexicon, or related documents, from one (or several) such lost familial traditions, may be found in the Bodleian archives. A very small number of additional fragments may exist in scattered locations worldwide [see footnote 3: Voynich, Possible Relation to 'E']...

Excerpted from , "Anthropological Study of Considered as a Dwindling Sub-culture Within the United Kingdom, with Possible Long-Term " MKWD-03101940.COR014

...Practitioners of E also exhibit a wide variety of external self-inflicted physical scarring indicative of profound, repressed psychological trauma [cf., e.g., , and references therein]. Whether the lifelong practice and study of E induces psychological instability, or whether the cultural practices surrounding E select for children susceptible to such vulnerabilities, is currently unknown.

It is therefore noteworthy that said cultural practices suggest all practitioners descend from familial traditions of child exploitation [cf. Beauclerk, William]. This is consistent with the practitioners' shared mythology, which claims the discovery of E and its subsequent exploration descends from similar exploitive practices in the Middle Ages, perhaps going back to antiquity. Obviously, these accounts must be considered apocryphal...

Lord William Edward Guthrie Beauclerk (b. 19 Dec 1911)

Son of Edward Alastair Henry Beauclerk, Earl of Strathearn (b. 1880 - d. 1917) and Diana Prescott, Lady Wellingham (b. 1882 - d. 1917)

Siblings: Aubrey (b. 1907) (13th Duke of Aelred)

Note: The Duchy of Aelred passed directly from the 12th Duke to Aubrey owing to the death of Edward Beauclerk in 1917. See, e.g., Burke's Peerage and related sources.
